DEMO has more than 20 years of experience in managing EU research projects and deploying cost-effective coordination tools from EU FP4 to Horizon 2020. DEMO uses own developed support tools also for coordination of national projects
Over these 20 years, DEMO has gained knowledge about information management that meets European Commission standards and provides the most efficient way to organize processes within the project consortium (both coordinator and partners). Extensive user experience and feedback have led to DEMO tools optimization to enable smooth project management and information sharing. Thus, the use of these tools will lead to significant savings in financial budgets and efforts. DEMO applies the tools and services within projects in which he participates and also offers them to other consortia.
What do we offer? You can opt for a fully integrated tool set or selection of tools or services. The tools are used as web applications configured by DEMO to meet your needs. DEMO also offers to train your employees on how to use it.

The following tools can be found in the Toolset:

1. Consortium (internal) Collaboration Platform for information/document exchange based on Microsoft SharePoint technology.
Purpose: To facilitate project and information management

Functionalities:

  • Dedicated web server with project configuration
  • H2020 project structure configuration
  • Secure access
  • Sharing documents (Upload, Archive, Backup, Memory)
  • User based alerts / notifications
  • Templates for MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Integration of project identity / corporate style and respective templates
  • Instruction manuals or SharePoint functionalities
  • User accounts for SharePoint
  • Member based profiles (Security groups, Distribution groups, Mailing groups)
  • Customizable settings for each Work Package and/or User Group
  • Contact lists
  • Event list
  • Announcements
  • Access via web browser and/or dedicated apps for IOS and Android
  • Usage statistics

2. Consortium (internal) financial Coordination Tool
Purpose: To facilitate financial control and reporting in accordance with H2020 and HEurope standards
Functionalities:
  • Effective cost management (administration, control and reporting)
  • Data submitted for each partner via secure access in a user-friendly system
  • Preventing inaccuracies in the submission process of costs
  • Preventing inaccuracies in the process of reporting
  • Financial monitoring
  • Ensuring all cost claims comply with the H2020 / HEurope guidelines and requirements
  • Reporting project progress as a whole, numeric and graphical representations
  • Reporting project progress for each partner or each work package, numeric and graphical representations

3. Public (external) Project Website
Purpose: Dissemination of project information and result to public audience
Functionalities:
  • Dedicated web server with project configuration
  • H2020 project structure configuration
  • Public website for dissemination
  • Deployment of project identity / corporate style
  • Integration of Content Management System (CMS)
  • Integration of social media and real-time news feeds

These tools are hosted in our certified and well secured Azure data centre on dedicated DEMO Webservers.
