Enriching property information with location data

A GIS (Geographic Information System) graphically visualizes where objects are located. Property data and information are linked to the location and visualized on a map. In the process, geographical environment aspects can be included in analyses and monitored via dashboards.

​Application of a GIS

The application of GIS within RE Suite offers unprecedented possibilities. These include very practical applications; for example, the most optimal route planning for a mechanic, to find the location of objects accurately; or an overview of stock distribution for an asset manager. More advanced applications are those in which different information layers are superimposed, allowing real estate information to be linked to environmental factors, soil properties, surrounding infrastructure, and buildings. Moreover, for cases such as energy calculations, GIS services are also integrated into RE Suite.


We use various GIS systems such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, TomTom, and ESRI. In addition, linking to Cyclomedia's Globespotter is also possible.​
